I Guess I'll Tell You...

So, I've been holding off with this news, because once I tell people, it seems like that triggers the end, but I've been seeing someone.

I met this guy Zac at my favorite bar at the end of April. We went to a movie the next night (Vacancy? It was stupid, I don't recommend it). He's typical in that after only hanging out 2 or 3 times, he told me he didn't want to get into a serious relationship. I freakin hate it when guys do this, and they all seem to do it to me. Dude, settle down, I never brought up the word relationship and I certainly didn't ask you to marry me! However, unlike MOST guys who give me that line, this one continued to call and we see each other about once a week.

Right now he doesn't have a job. In the past he's been in commercial construction. He WANTS to be a writer, but needs a job in the meantime where he can write too. So he's looking. He also wants to start training to be a fighter again. I didn't get too many details on that. I'm thinking it's like the UFC type fighting, mixed martial arts, but I don't know.

He has a little pug who he adores more than anything in the world. It's very sweet to see this big manly man be so sweet to a little dog. A very good quality, in my opinion.

He has also helped my forget about Erik (Erik who?), who of course, has not kept in touch. Didn't think he would. We will just always be friends, and that's fine by me.

Otherwise things are pretty good. Work is good. I fostered another cat family, and they're gone already. I have a bunch of camping trips lined up and tickets to see Cirque de Soliel, Rusted Root, Ani DiFranco, and Breaking Benjamin. It's a busy summer!
