A Great Last Few Weeks
The last few weeks have been pretty good. Work is going well. Bethany is more and more herself (which is good and bad - she's a little naughty girl). But the best part of the last few weeks was my weekend up in Frisco at the end of March. And I will write about it in this blog since I think it's safe he won't read it...
A little history: There's this guy named Erik that I went to college with. He was a year ahead of me and hung out with my friends. We took a biology class together and were lab partners a few times. I had a big ole crush on him, and had no clue he liked me too until his graduation night, when he kissed me! Unfortunately, nothing ever came of it, since he left the next day.
I've had a little flame for him ever since in the back of my mind. Well, he's good friends with my friend Arawan (hereafter known as "A") who moved out here from Philly. So, he came out and stayed with A in February. He was going to a wedding but came out for a few days since his brother lives out here and A does too now. The Bucknell clan went out one night and apparently the attraction was still there from the both of us. But again, he lived in Baltimore and left a few days later. :(
Then he came out at the end of March with yet another Bucknell friend named Chris. A, Erik, Chris and I stayed up at my parent's condo in Frisco from Thursday night til Sunday afternoon. It was wonderful but there wasn't a lot of alone time. But we enjoyed what time we had together. On Sunday night, we all went out for sushi, went back to A's house and watched the beginning of Casino Royale. I left and he walked me outside and we promised to keep in touch. He just started a new job in Raliegh, NC. Although he has talked about trying to find a job out here in CO, since his brother's out here and he loves it out here so much. He'd probably live in CO Springs, which is about 1.5-2 hours away. But it wouldn't be for awhile so I'm trying not to pine over him too much. But he's a great guy.
He's coming again in August to go hiking, so I at least get to see him then. But that's so long! Anyway, that's been my latest excitement. There are pictures of him in my Picture Album that I just updated. Also, there are pictures of my last day snowboarding this season from this morning.
